The GYD470 Car Drift Gyro is designed to stabilise perfect drifts with controlled drift angles, in either AVCS or Normal mode. Weighing only 3.7g and micro-sized using the latest MEMS sensor technology, it fits RC cars of various sizes.

All adjustments are made wirelessly via transmitter in the gyro. No PC or setting software is required. The gyro action can be adjusted via a separate channel from the transmitter.

Note for FUTABA digital servos: When using SR-suitable steering servos, transmitters (T7PX, T7XC and the new T4PM system) and SR receivers, the gyro can also be operated in SR mode ("super response": fastest signal transmission).

Both connection sides are designed to be pluggable and can be easily adapted to the model conditions by using different patch cables (plug - plug) with various lengths.

Normal Gyro Mode: In this mode the GYD470 works like a normal gyro: In case of an angle change the position is corrected via the steering servo. This mode is ideal for all non-drifting RC cars.

AVCS Mode (Active Angular Velocity Control System): The AVCS mode was specially developed for drift cars to perform wild drifting manoeuvres in different speed ranges for as long as possible. For this purpose, the GYD470 features Heading Hold technology to provide the driver with the best possible support during drifting.
