About the Model

• The first edition of the F104 chassis kit comes in PRO specifications and uses top-quality carbon fiber parts for a beautiful finish.

• The car features front & rear wings and an original body, which produce a great scale realism.

• Tire size and body dimensions mimic those seen in races.

• The battery is longitudinally-mounted for a slim body design.

• The 2WD system has excellent acceleration qualities and is very reliable.

• The front suspension features a link-type coil spring with the rear suspension having a friction plate & a T-bar set up with a TRF damper.

• A part of the new design is the aluminum ball diff. Even if your wheels are removed, the differential will hold together allowing easy maintenance.

• The height adjustable rear gear case has been designed to match the new tire dimensions.

• The isometric steering rod links up well with the longitudinally-mounted steering servo for excellent control.

• The car features a low number of parts allowing for simple operation and easy maintenance.

• ESC, 2-channel R/C system, battery pack & charger are separately required.

Der „Buggy Champ” kam 1979 auf den Markt. 30 Jahre später feiert Tamiya dieses Ereignis, mit einer Wiederauflage dieses für damalige Verhältnisse innovativen Technik und dem wegweisenden Design.

Vieles wurde vom damaligen original Design übernommen, aber einige Detailverbesserungen sollen helfen den heutigen Fahransprüchen zu genügen.

Tamiya bringt eine wunderschöne neue Karosserie raus:  Einen Ford Bronco ‘73

Hier zu sehen ist die Karosserie auf einem CR-01 Chassis. Dies passt nicht wirklich optimal wie ich finde, daher besteht die berechtigte Hoffnung, daß wir den Ford Bronco noch auf anderen Chassis zu sehen bekommen. Vielleicht als High-Lift ?
